Natalee's Livestock Photos

This was such a unique shoot, we started with livestock minis. First we brought out her show steer, he was the sweetest little thing and she has one of, if not the best bond with her steer that I've ever seen! Natalee kept some sugar cubes in her pocket and this boy LOVED it. She put the cubes in her mouth and we got the sweetest photos of him giving her kisses.

Then we brought out her baby goats and their momma, they were 3 DAYS old! They were so sweet and just the cutest little things! They were jumping around the whole session and were the funnest things to watch while we were taking photos!

We brought her three dogs over to join for the last leg of our livestock photos and they were so well behaved. Last summer when we took her graduation portraits we had her dogs in some but this session we had a new addition! He was a sweet little pup that she has done so well with training, he listened so well and was so fun to have running around! I really enjoy it when we add animals into sessions, it just adds another level of personalization to it that I think really makes photos special.

Livestock photos are some of my favorite photos to do that I didn't expect to enjoy so much! Its just so fun to have the animals running around and to capture each ones personalities. You may not think that cows have their own personalities but they definitely do!

Graduation Cap & Gown

We put away the animals and went to the back of their house where they had stored not one but 3 gorgeous vintage vehicles. I don't get the chance to work with such cool vehicles very long so I was so excited to make some magic.

First was her very own square body chevy which had a perfect paint job and was in incredible condition, the light blue with the evening sun and the contrast of the wooden beams of their house behind made for the funnest photos. We of course had to have her pups hop in with her and it just made the complete picture very worthy of a graduation photo.

After taking probably way more photos of her with her truck then she originally thought we would we moved to her dad's car. Now I'm not very savvy with my cars but I could tell how cool his car was. The deep blue was so clean and you could tell was very well taken care of. I kept glancing over to her dad was we were taking photos and it was the most precious thing to see how much he loved his daughter and that there was something very special about watching his baby all grown up and taking photos in a loved car.

The sun started to set and blue hour was setting in, we moved over to her dads black truck which looked so cool in the blue hour of the evening.

I've taken photos of Natalee over the span of the last year and a half and every time we do photos it is so much fun. I know its been a good session when it ends with us laughing and just enjoying each others company.

I can't wait to see where Natalee goes in life because I know she will do amazing!
