First a little introduction
Hey there!
I'm Meadow Rothlisberger, the face behind Meadowlark Photography! Here's a little bit about me :) I am from a small town in southwest Wyoming where I was raised for most of my life on the family ranch. I married the love of my life in 2024 and a year later had our baby girl! Life can't get much better than this!
My Photography Journey
I started getting interested in photography when I started messing around with the family camera around the ranch for a school photography competition in 3rd grade. (I got first lol 8 year old me was proud) I charged for my first photoshoot when I was a junior in highschool for the high price of $30 dollars. The year after I graduated I started really jumping in, I did my first wedding that year and I was hooked!
Now 4 years after that I am loving photography even more and now offer anywhere from weddings, to seniors, to families, to everything show cattle and ranching! I am so so grateful for each and everyone of you to make this dream come true!
Some of my favorite things
I am into all and everything that is western, the fashion, the lifestyle, the work, the music, it all is very poetic in its very punchy way!
Some of my favorite things to do are going to brandings in the spring, going to jackpots and cattle shows all summer, riding for cows in the mountains, rodeos, and most everything that goes with the western life.
I am married to a Mechanic and Cattle Fitter, so often times my weekends are filled with going to shows, clipping, or fixing some random equipment.
Im currently obsessed with first, my husband and daughter, baby giggles, candid photos, Allison Krauss, Cody Johnson, turquoise jewelry, fancy nails, sale pictures, fancy bred horses, fluffy show cows, detail pictures, black and white pictures of hands, the smell of show barns, little corgi pups, the gym, punchy pictures, leather working, handy ranch rigs, square body fords, travel, good friends, and so so much more!
Jace and I got married on 11-23-24 and that day has easily become a favorite of mine. We moved from lyman, where we were working on a ranch, to Logan, and now to Preston ID. We travel most weekends to other places to follow the show cattle or the weddings that our work brings us.
I might be biased but I think my husband is one of the coolest people around, we will go from fitting high end cattle, to fixing skid steers, to helping with all the things on the ranch, to following me around as I pack around a camera. I couldn't ask for a better husband
We just had our baby girl Izzy this fall, we quickly became wrapped around her little fingers. So now my days are filled with baby cuddles with photo editing at nap time.
You can never go wrong with a good day ranching, often times I take a lot of days off in the spring to go brandings, whether it's for photography or to get to rope myself. In the fall I am helping some outfit or another with getting cows off summer grazing and going to cattle shows trying to get better at fitting to be able to help my husband.
